Version 2026-08-v1

Creator privacy notice

This notice covers creator applicants and approved creators. It is separate from Akoma’s consumer-app privacy policy.

What we collect

Application and profile details such as your name, business email, country, timezone, channels, audience-size band, audience countries, content examples, themes, and application answers.

If approved, we also keep agreement acceptances, assigned campaigns, briefs, links and codes, submitted content, review notes, minimal link analytics, verified conversion amounts, payout status, transfer references, fraud or policy flags, and an operational audit log.

We do not ask for consumer health data. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the application or click ledgers; where abuse prevention is enabled, a one-way fingerprint may be stored instead.

Why we use it

We use creator data to assess applications, communicate decisions, provide and secure the portal, assign campaigns, review content, attribute results, calculate and document earnings, send payouts, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and improve programme economics.

UK processing is based on taking steps at your request, performing the creator agreement, legitimate interests in running and securing the programme, and legal obligations where applicable. US rights vary by state; Akoma does not sell or share creator personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Who processes it

Portal data is hosted with Supabase and the website is hosted with Vercel. Resend may process business email delivery. RevenueCat and Apple transaction signals are used to verify subscription attribution and net revenue. These providers process data under their own security and contractual controls.

Creators see only their own programme records and aggregate conversion information. They never receive a referred customer’s name, email, account ID, purchase history, or health information.

Payment details

Full bank account details are not collected or stored in the creator portal. Before a first payout, Akoma arranges the necessary payment information separately and stores only a status, limited operational note, amount, date, and transfer reference in the portal ledger.

Retention

Unsuccessful applications are normally retained for 24 months so we can manage reapplications and document decisions. Approved creator records are retained while the account is active and normally for seven years after the final payment where financial or tax records require it.

Content and click-level operational data may be aggregated or deleted earlier when no longer needed. Fraud, legal hold, dispute, and audit records may be retained as reasonably necessary to establish or defend rights.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete eligible creator data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw an application; or receive portable data where law provides. Some financial, fraud-prevention, and legal records cannot be deleted immediately.

Email privacy@akomahealthcare.com with “Creator privacy” in the subject. We may need to verify the request. UK creators may also complain to the ICO; US creators may use any applicable state appeal or complaint process.
