Version 2026-08-v1

Creator disclosure policy

This policy records the disclosure that UK and US pilot creators must use whenever Akoma content can earn a commission.

Required wording

Use this wording exactly, without abbreviating or paraphrasing it:

Ad — Paid partnership with Akoma. I earn a commission if you subscribe using my code.

Use it on every incentivised post, story, video, stream, description, or other placement—not only on the first post in a series.

Make it unavoidable

Place the disclosure at the beginning of the content or caption, before the recommendation, product claim, code, link, or call to action. Do not hide it after “more”, among hashtags, only in a profile bio, or only on the destination page.

For audiovisual content, the disclosure must be both clearly visible at the start and spoken clearly. Keep the visual wording on screen long enough to be read and use sufficient size and contrast. For audio-only content, speak it before the promotion.

For live content, disclose at the start and repeat it often enough that people joining later are likely to encounter it, including before repeating the offer or call to action.

Use the platform tool as well

Turn on the platform’s paid-partnership, branded-content, or equivalent disclosure tool whenever it is available. The platform tool is additional: it does not replace the visible and, for audiovisual content, spoken wording above.

Approval applies to the exact version

Submit the complete draft, including the disclosure’s placement, timing, size, contrast, spoken delivery, caption, link, and code. Do not publish until the portal marks that exact version approved. Material edits require another review.

If a platform format prevents compliant disclosure, do not publish in that format. Contact creators@akomahealthcare.com for guidance.

Document record

This versioned URL is the document accepted during onboarding. Material revisions are issued under a new version and require a new acceptance. Also read the creator programme terms.
