Creator claims and safety policy
This is the common UK and US baseline for creator content. An approved campaign brief may add stricter, format-specific requirements.
Describe the product accurately
Akoma is a wellness and tracking companion. Do not describe it as medical advice, a medical device, a healthcare professional, or a substitute for professional care.
Show the real, current product. Do not stage unavailable features, alter screens to imply a capability, or make claims that are not in the approved brief.
Prohibited health and outcome claims
Do not claim or imply that Akoma diagnoses, treats, cures, prevents, predicts, or monitors a disease or medical condition. Do not give prescribing, dosing, titration, injection, or treatment advice, and do not encourage anyone to start, stop, skip, or change medication or professional care.
Do not promise or guarantee weight loss, symptom change, adherence, safety, savings, or any other result. Do not use before-and-after transformations or imply that a viewer has a condition, takes a particular medication, or should pursue a particular treatment.
Personal experience must be genuine
Speak only from experience you actually had. Do not invent a testimonial, script a claim as if it were your own experience, or present an unusual result as typical. Clearly distinguish your opinion from a product fact.
Do not quote a customer, clinician, study, statistic, award, ranking, comparison, privacy promise, or performance result unless it appears in the current approved brief with the required context.
No fear, stigma, or sensitive targeting
Do not shame bodies, eating, medication use, health status, or treatment choices. Do not exploit fear or urgency, and do not assert or imply that a specific viewer has a health condition or uses a treatment based on personal or audience data.
Review before publication
Submit the complete content and caption through the portal. Approval covers only the exact submitted version, campaign, destination, disclosure, and publication period. A material edit, new claim, new format, or reused clip requires another review.
When unsure, leave the claim out and ask creators@akomahealthcare.com. Akoma may require correction or removal if live content becomes inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with platform rules.
Document record
This versioned URL is the policy accepted during onboarding. Material revisions are issued under a new version and require a new acceptance. Also read the creator programme terms.
